Job Summary:
Hebbian, Inc. is looking for world class developers who are passionate about their work and want to be involved with innovative software products. If hired, you will be working on a variety of high-end enterprise middleware projects for our clients in the financial services industry, and contributing to our patent-pending software products.
Required qualifications (please, pay attention! ):
- 4+ years of design and development experience in an enterprise environment;
- 5+ years of Java/J2EE development experience;
- Knowledge of distributed systems and standards;
- Ability to create, document and execute complex technical designs;
- Ability to provide direction to team, and write and review code;
- Ability to deliver code with at least 50% fewer defects than the industry average;
- Experience developing and architecting applications using one or more of the following technologies: Java/J2EE, RESTful services, Web services, WebLogic/WebSphere or WebSphere DataPower;
- Good oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to lead and manage multiple projects.
- Candidates must be citizens or permanent residents of Canada and should be able to provide proof of a clean criminal record as per financial industry regulations.
Bonus Skills:
- Exposure to enterprise security and threat modeling;
- .NET development (C#) or Mobile development (native apps on iOS or Android);
- Front-end/UI technologies (HTML5/JS/related frameworks).
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as a senior developer and/or technical lead on a variety of enterprise middleware projects;
- Design, write, test, debug, maintain, and document enterprise components and applications using a variety of tools;
- Be a key individual in engineering a new enterprise platform.
